Topic: History
I've had some crisis in my life over the past several years.
1. Divorce, which was not pleasent.
2. Losing my Dad to Alztheimer's after watching him decline for 6 yrs.
3. Currently since 07/29/05, Mark was diagnosed with Squamous cell carcinoma of the head & neck, which he had a radical neck dissection on 08/30/05. He is recovering at home. This will be followed by radiation for 6 weeks and 3 doses of chemotherapy. I will include a entry titled " Mark" to update his progress.

I was adopted at age 6 months, by two wonderful, loving people whom I am proud to have as parents.
I had no siblings growing up, but I had plenty of friends. I had a typical childhood, and a close family. I completed Nursing school in 1984, which I am proud of, but, I wish I had continued on with my education. I had Jesse at age 19 from my first marriage. Then, I married Mark in March 1991, followed by the birth of Zach that following December. I have 3 grandchildren from my stepdaughter; Courtney age 13, Quinton age 9 and Madison age 3.
